About Us
Zak Tile and Stone is family owned and operated. We enjoy being a small company because it enables us to stay in touch with our customers' needs. It makes us able to give the finest customer service and provide superior quality tile installation. Our Lead Installer, William, is the reason our company came to be.
William began installing tile as a teenager. His "Cousin Jessie" was a seasoned tile installer and recruited William to help him on some projects when William was just out of high school. He thought it would be a great way to make some extra money while going to school. William loved working with the tools, being creative, and most of all, appreciated the happiness customers felt when they saw the finished project in their homes. Since then William has become a master at the craft. He's been working with tile for over 12 years, helping to make his customer's dream home or business site a reality. After years of working for some of the largest tile installation companies in San Diego County, William moved his family to Northern California and settled in the East Bay. With the encouragement of his mentors William, and his wife Jennifer, decided to open their own tile business. In 2012 Zak Tile & Stone opened for business.
